01. Find the Inspo

This is usually the hardest part for you. Whenever I am looking for a theme for my own children, I struggle sooooo hard (let's be real, it's not just you that struggles with this). Whether it's a family, newborn, cake smash or engagements, there are always those expectations. It helps me to know what these are so I can prepare accordingly. Pinterest is always my go to on searching for outfit inspiration.

02. PICK A LOCATION

For my studio sessions, this is easy. All Studio sessions take place in my studio. 1116 12th ave S Nampa. For families, senior and engagement session, these sessions take place out in the valley. If you are like me, you'd want to see what it looks like before deciding. If you check out my family portfolio, you can check out some locations I have gone to.

I have hundreds of locations around the valley, so just tell me! Waterfalls? I got it. Old barns? Also got it! *Some locations are harder to travel to in the winter.

03. Contract & Deposit

Once we have picked a date and location, I will be sending you my contract which will need to be filled out. This contract protects both you and I in case anything happens before or after the session. Once the contract is signed, an invoice will be sent. This is a non refundable booking fee to hold your date. The fee goes towards your session fee. If there is an issue with the date, the booking fee can be transferred ONCE but there is no guaranteeing a new date is available.

04. Prep Guide

As it gets closer to your session, a prep guide will be sent. For newborn and cake smash sessions, the guide talks about feeding, nap-time etc. For family, senior and engagements, it talks mostly of outfits and color schemes. For weddings, this will be requesting schedule of the day so I can be sure myself and my team can prepare. But please email me (or text) if you have any questions before or after.

05. Session

YAY! It's session time. I strive to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere for my clients young and old. This is done in many different ways. Jokes, silly noises, calming music for my newborns, bubbles, peek a boo, etc. I guide posing through natural actions to create a real life feel.

06. Editing/Delivery

Editing times vary depending on the session type and time of year, but here is the basic run down. Cake smash galleries typically take 2-3 days to completely edit. Newborn typically take 5-7 days. Family galleries typically take a week. Engagements typically take a week. Wedding galleries typically take 4 weeks. Wedding Video take 4 weeks.

With the exception of weddings, all galleries will be delivered on an online gallery. These galleries will be up for 1-2 months and then they will be archived. Wedding galleries will be saved on 3 usb drives, one to keep and two to share and mailed off to you.
